The Write Kellys are an award-winning author and illustrator duo publishing four children’s books with many more (always!) in the works. The married couple (parents, creatives and professors in their day jobs) turn into their alter ego mystery writer, P. Knuckle Jones when it’s time to write, because—let's face it—that name is just way cooler than Rebecca and Kevin Kelly. 

Like their own favorite childhood mysteries, the Kellys’ children’s books feature kids as heroes because, whether facing bog creatures or machines run amok, it’s the kids who can be counted on to save the day! Using the power of observation along with critical thinking and problem solving skills (and learning from mistakes along the way), the Kellys’ characters, like their students in real life, can face any situation no matter how scary.

P. Knuckle Jones worked for nearly fifteen years as a sea urchin researcher and advocate, training under the famous scientist, Dame Abigail Witherington. In recent years, he has wandered the globe, building an impressive collection of sunset photographs. In even more recent years, he has begun his most important work: writing stories about talking animals. He has no pets whatsoever.
